SPENCER LUCERO
Designer & Scouter
Spencer joined 1069B in 2018 and has been doing robotics for eight years. Spencer has a gift for designing and visualizing robot mechanisms and big picture concepts. He also has the wonderful ability to help his teammates during the building process. During the competition, Spencer scouts the other teams and finds the few robots that would best compliment our robot.
COREY SCHANKER
Programmer & Driving Coach
Corey joined 1069B in 2017 and has been doing robotics for six years. Corey is the lead programmer and spends countless hours modifying the program to ensure that the software is utilizing the full potential of the hardware. During competitions, he coaches the drivers helping them with strategy and tactics during a match.
BELLA MALHERBE
Programmer & Notebook
Bella joined 1069B in 2019 and this is her second year doing robotics. Bella works with Corey, learning from his vast experience with Cpp and helps design the algorithms and object-oriented structures. She also helps Kaitlin with documenting the design process. During competitions, she scouts with Spencer and also, when asked she happily drives the robot!
KAITLIN HORVATH
Notebook & Builder
Kaitlin joined 1069B in 2019 and this is her second year doing robotics. Kaitlin helps the team by documenting all of the team's crazy ideas and finding a wonderful way of getting it all on paper! She also helps build and modify the robot always making the robot perform better and better. During competitions, Kaitlin films our matches for review after the tournament.
